Create a customised template for your analysis
The button template lets you create buttons for each item or element you want to analyse. There are two kinds of buttons: primary level (categories) and secondary level (descriptors). Descriptors are used to describe categories for a more specific analysis.
Visual registering with the advanced graphic descriptors
Graphically register where actions take place. An image or picture of your interest can be divided into areas you create with associated descriptor names, so that you can click anywhere to show when different actions occur and identify these actions with a chosen colour.
Auto-lists & Auto-presentations
With auto-lists, you preset your registers to automatically populate a list in a presentation when you open it in the timeline. Auto-presentations let users to populate an independent presentation to include all the actions which have this parameter when pressed during an observation, with the clips separated into lists by the videos they are associated with.
Register your event in three different ways
User will be able to register events in three different ways: (1) live (real time), (2) from a video file or (3) without video source (synchronise footage and registers in a later stage).
Add text/audio notes while registering actions
Supplement your registers with extra information by adding text and audio notes so your analysis can be more rich in details.
Slow or fast motion playback
Set the playback speed to your needs. You can rewind or play your videos frame by frame, slow motion, or fast forward up to x6.
Most normal video formats used
A wide range of playback formats can be used (AVI, WMV, MOV, MPEG, MPG, MOD, M2V, MTS, M2TS, MP4, FLV, MKV, M4V or TS).
“Jump” options in playback
Users will be able to customise up to three different options of “jump” times to move forward and backwards along the video with different key combinations.
Delayed video feed
Capture will be shown with a customised delay (in seconds) so the observer can know what it is going to happen in advance.
Revise actions in real time
Revise and edit actions in real time without leaving the capture or moving to the timeline.
TIMELINE & MATRIX
Timeline to edit all the registered actions
All the versions of Codimg have a timeline clearly showing what occurred in an event. All the recorded actions can be easily adjusted and reviewed. The timeline provides a working environment which optimises the time spent on analysis, so you can easily lengthen or shorten actions, delete, duplicate, change information, add new categories (rows), change names and more. The timeline is the most important tool for working with your recorded actions.
Open multiple tabs of databases from different videos in the timeline
You can select the actions to be included in your presentations from unlimited videos or databases so you can work with different events in one timeline.
Create a data matrix with the registers from different timelines and associated videos.
Dynamic Matrix (review based on time periods)
Consult a customised data matrix based on time periods. For instance, just some minutes of the whole analysis.
Submatrix (matrix from another matrix)
Submatrices will allow you to create a data matrix taking a category as a reference. By doing so, you will be able to relate descriptors of that category against each other.
Create a matrix only showing what you need. You are able to save this structure for future occasions.
Create presentations easily
Select highlights from your timelines to share them with others, by organising them into lists according to your criteria. You can show your presentations both from the software or by producing a video with your analysis.
Most normal formats to export
Videos can be exported with Codimg including a wide range of formats (MP4, MPEG, AVI or Pre-set).
1080p full HD production
Export your videos in different qualities to a maximum of 1080p full HD (but also others like 720p, 960h and 480p).
Stream live dashboards
Live dashboards can be received on other devices such as computers, tablets or smartphones.
Stream video play by play
Clips can be streamed to other devices such as computers, tablets or smartphones.
Import/export XML files
Import and export XML files from other systems with timeline based products and export Codimg databases to this format
Import StudioCode timelines (STpkg)
Import StudioCode files into Codimg. This ability allows users to interact with this software for analysis synergy.
Quickly merge videos from same source
If you have the video of your event divided into different parts, you can quickly merge them into one file.
