The latest update to the Codimg Hub platform brings some major improvements to workflows on the platform, making it easier to filter and work with your uploaded videos, observations and documents.

In this blog, we’ll show you the fresh new look and talk you through all the changes so you don’t get lost.

So, let’s get started…

New Look Interface

One of the first things you’ll notice when you log into Codimg Hub are the changes to the side menu.

We have simplified this menu so it’s easier to find the files you need.

At the top of this menu, you’ll find the Sub Account drop down menu. If you are a Super Administrator, you can change which sub account you wish to view.

Moving down there are three filtering options, these are:

• All. Click this to see all the files uploaded to your account.

• Favourites. Click here to view all the files that you have favourited.
  
  To favourite a video, observation, presentation or document, simply click the star that appears on the top left of the thumbnail. When it is blue, it has been favourited. Click the star again to deselect it.

• Recent. Opens a list of all the videos, observations, presentations and documents that have been opened in the last 7 days.

Moving down from here, we can see the Folders menu where you can select any folder in your account to view its contents.

This includes the default Home, Public and Shared (super accounts only) folders, plus any folders you have created in the account.

File Filtering Option

The options for selecting the type of file you want to view in the folders can now be found in the top tool bar.

From left to right these are:

• All.
• Videos.
• Observations.
• Presentations.
• Documents.

When selected, the icon will turn blue and the corresponding file type will be displayed in the folder.

You can display any mix of file types that you want.

Click any icon to deselect it and hide those files.

This is a quick, easy option for searching through the files that have been uploaded to your account.

Quick Access Icons

On the right side of the top tool bar, you can find icons for accessing some tools on that platform that were previously only accessible from certain working environments.

We have relocated these to make them easier to find and work with.

From left to right, these are:

• Notifications. Where you will find news about activity in your account. A blue dot on the icon signifies that there are new messages.
• Tagging Window Manager. Create and control digital templates in your account from here.
• Quick Clips. View all the quick clips that have been created in your account and filter them by Videos or Users.
• Team Channel. Click here at any time to see posts on the team channel.

Next to this are the settings options for your account. Click your avatar picture to view them.

Codimg Hub App

The Codimg Hub app also receives an update at this time and includes all the same interface changes that the main platform has received.

Please encourage users in your account to update the app to the new versions as soon as possible. It can be downloaded for Android or iOS here.

How to Update to the New Look Hub

These changes will be applied to the platform for everyone to enjoy on the 25th of March. You do not have to do anything, although there will be a short interruption to the service during the morning.
